Regional Sales Representative - Germany

Garnica is strategically located near five of Europe’s largest poplar plantations. It has central headquarters and seven production centres, five in Spain and two in France.

 

Under the supervision of the Area Manager, ensure compliance with company policies, as well as meeting the objectives and annual Sales Plan. The role does not require a concrete location for the candidate, within Germany.

Main Accountabilities:

  1. Present, promote and sell Garnica products using solid arguments to existing and prospective Customers.
  2. Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  3. Meet monthly, quarterly and/or yearly sales and profitability targets set for his/her territory by the Company and agreed with the employee through effective planning and budgeting.
  4. Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments, especially Q&A and Customer Service.
  5. Analyze the territory/market´s potential, track sales and status reports.
  6. Propose actions and suggestions in order to build the Annual Sales Plan for his/her assigned Territory.
  7. Participate in the required marketing activities of Garnica Plywood in the assigned Territory market for hardwood plywood.
  8. Assist in any quality issues related to the product itself in conjunction with company QA staff.
  9. Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  10. Other duties as may arise from time to time and may be assigned to the employee.
  11. Assist current customer base by training/accompanying customer sales force in joint end user calls (sell-out)

 

Also some of the basics in terms of background are:


1. At least 3 years of experience in the plywood industry (or wood panels) in these markets.
2. Good english level. Be confident enough to interact with the rest of the international sales team and the rest of the company in English (English it's our corporative language)
3. Availability to travel frequently within the market and also quaterly to (mainly) Spain to attend to our commercial meetings.
